Exploring
Alaska? Whether you hike, camp, fish, photograph, or
take a scenic drive, your first step should be through
the doors of the ALASKA
PUBLIC LANDS INFORMATION CENTERS!
Alaska's parks, forests, wildlife
refuges and other types of public land account for more than
300 million acres -- an area more than twice the size of Texas.
Congress established the APLICs
to represent both Federal and State land managing agencies.
Now, you won't have to visit many different office locations
to find out about the lands and waters these agencies manage
and the services they provide. In one stop, you can obtain
most of the information needed to plan your Alaska adventure.
Learn about Alaska's vast public
lands. Visit an APLIC in Tok, Anchorage, Fairbanks, or Ketchikan.
