Bicyclists in Alaska have a wealth of riding opportunities. Highways, back country roads and rugged mountain trails offer spectacular views and mountain biking opportunities. Ice biking is even a possibility! Many areas are remote, however, and the cities few and far between, so be prepared before heading out on an extended ride or onto an infrequently used hiking trail.
