We received the following unsolicited trade
lead from a Dutch company seeking high quality Sitka spruce
for masts on sailing ships. Given the sufficient interest,
the buyer is prepared to fly to Alaska to visit a mill, inspect
the lumber, and make final arrangements. If successful, more
regular shipments are envisaged. Their current needs are for
a series of masts 18 meters or 54 feet in length. Specifications
are as follows.
