SUBJECT:  Spruce Lumber
We received the following trade lead from a forest products manufacturer in North Carolina.

They are interested in approximately 20,000 linear feet of finger-jointed poplar, hemlock, or bass wood in the following dimensions:

1.) 2.60" x 1.3" x 146"

2.) 2.21" x 1.3" x 146"

3.) 2.12" x 1.31" x 146"

Tolerances: length: +/- 1/8 Inch, Width/Thickness: -0 and 10/1000 Inch.

Moisture Content: between 6%.and 9%.

Grade: Clear Faces, Four Sides with sound and tight knots, any color.

If the price is comparable, they would be more than happy to consider solid sawn hemlock. The price quote should be FOB Raleigh, NC 27604. It is possible that this request could develop into a continuous business arrangement.
