In the interest of the public safety the Board of Chiropractic Examiners adopts regulations governing the practice of chiropractic in Alaska.
The Board makes final licensing decision and takes disciplinary actions against person who violate licensing laws.
The Board of Chiropractic Examiners is staffed by the Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing.
The Board of Chiropractic Examiners consist of four licensed chiropractic physicians and one public member.
Board members are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Legislature.
The Board meets a minimum of two times a year and offers a public comment period at each meeting. Meeting agendas are available from the licensing examiner.

The Board will seek maximum penalties of licensed
chiropractic physicians who are not licensed to practice chiropractic
or found to be in violation of any
state statute or regulation
pertaining to the practice of chiropractic in Alaska.
