How to Obtain an Alaska Entity Number

Generally, the State of Alaska requires the following licenses to conduct business:

  1. Registration of your corporation / entity with the State of Alaska resulting in an Alaska Entity Number – issued by the State of Alaska.
  2. If applicable, Entity Professional License for corporations, LLCs, LLPs, LPs – issued by the State of Alaska. Go to Professional Licensing web site.
  3. If applicable, Individual Professional License – issued by the State of Alaska. Go to Professional Licensing web site.
  4. Business License(s) – issued by the State of Alaska. Go to Business Licensing web site.

Please choose one of the following forms, depending on your ownership type:

Corporation (Business) Articles of Incorporation
Arrow Domestic Business Corporation Online Filing
Arrow Print Domestic Business Corporation Application

Professional Corporation Application for Certificate of Authority

Nonprofit Corporation Articles of Incorporation

Cooperative Corporation Articles of Incorporation

LLC Articles of Organization
Arrow Domestic LLC Online Filing
Arrow Print Domestic LLC Application

Limited Partnership Application for Certificate of Limited Partnership

Limited Liability Partnership Statement of Qualification

Religious Corporation Articles of Incorporation
