Greg Winegar, Director |
Greg Winegar was appointed Director of the Division of Investments in May 2000.
The Division of Investments administers and services 12 loan programs under the Department of
Commerce, Community, and Economic Development (DCCED). The Division consists of 44 employees
located in offices in Juneau and Anchorage. The Division's portfolio currently consists of
approximately 2,900 accounts totaling $208 million. In addition to his duties as Director,
Mr. Winegar chairs the State Bond Committee and sits on the Student Loan Board, the Alaska
Municipal Bond Bank Authority Board, and the Pension Obligation Bond Corporation Board.
Prior to his appointment as Director, Mr. Winegar served as the Division of Investment's Lending
Branch Manager for 21 years. He also held Loan Officer and Loan Closer positions with the
Division and has worked for DCCED since 1974. Mr. Winegar received his Bachelors degree from
the Evergreen State College in 1973.
