2001 and 2002, the Office of Fisheries Development and the
University of Alaska-Fairbanks, Kodiak Fishery Industrial
Technology Center co-sponsored a seafood marketing workshop
throughout coastal Alaska.
The workshop, developed and
conducted through the assistance of marketing professionals,
reviewed a number of important marketing concepts as they
apply to Alaska seafood, particularly salmon.
