Program Goals:

To promote a better life for Alaskans.

Resource Provided:

Tier II grants are for requests in excess of $25,000. Most grants are issued for capital projects; however, Rasmuson will occasionally fund the expansion or start-up of innovative programs that address issues of broad community or statewide significance.

Eligibility:

Applicants typically must be Alaskan organizations that have received 501(c)(3) status or are federally-recognized tribes. Occasionally, Rasmuson will issue a Tier II grant to a faith-based group for non-sectarian purposes or to a governmental unit for projects outside the scope of traditional government functions.

Alaska Program Status:

The Tier II program is active, and letters of inquiry are accepted year-round.
