Child Care Resource and Referral Program

Administrative Agency:

State Agency: Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS), Division of Public Assistance (DPA), Child Care Program Office (CCPO)

Program Goals:

- Provide assistance to families in finding appropriate child care. - Provide support to child care providers to expand the availability of quality child care. - Provide assistance to individuals interested in starting a child care center or becoming a home care provider.

Resource Provided:

Child Care Resource and Referral partners: - Assist families by providing consumer education on selecting quality care and advise parents of provider vacancies. - Provide professional development through child care education and training opportunities. - Support child care providers to enhance their quality of care. - Provide assistance to individuals interested in starting a child care center or becoming a home care provider.
