Child Care Assistance Program

Program Goals:
Provides assistance with child care expenses on a sliding fee basis for eligible families who receive benefits under the Alaska Temporary Assistance Program (ATAP) or are working, seeking work, or in job training. Also serves to recruit and approve child care providers.
Resource Provided:
Assistance for eligible families to pay for child care.
Eligibility:
Based on family size and gross income, the Alaska Child Care Assistance Program will help pay for child care costs to families that are receiving ATAP benefits, working, seeking work, or in job training.
