Crown Point is on the Kenai Peninsula on the Seward Highway and at mile 24.5 of the Alaska Railroad. It lies between Kenai Lake and Lower Trail Lake, 22 miles north of Seward in the Chugach Mountains. The community
lies at approximately 60.422220° North Latitude
and -149.366670° West Longitude.

| U.S. Geological Survey agents reported a railroad station called "Trail Lake Station" at this site in 1912.
The population of the community consists of 9.3%
Alaska Native or part Native.
Crown Point includes approximately 40 homes near Kenai Lake.
During the 2000 U.S. Census,
total housing units numbered 38, and vacant housing units numbered 10.
Vacant housing units used
only seasonally numbered 8.
U.S. Census data for Year
2000 showed 32 residents
as employed. The unemployment rate at that time was
38.46 percent,
although
45.76 percent of
all adults were not in the work force. The median household
income was $59,063, per capita income was $17,498, and
15.58 percent of residents
were living below the poverty level.

| The majority of homes use individual water wells and septic tank systems. The remainder of residents haul or have water delivered, and use privies. Over two-thirds of homes are fully plumbed. The Borough provides a refuse transfer facility at mile 29 Seward Hwy.
Electricity is provided by Seward Electric System.
There are no state operated schools located in the community.
Local hospitals or health clinics include Central Peninsula General Hospital in Soldotna (262-4404) or Providence Seward Medical Center (224-5205).
