The financial impact of the electrical power and water and sewer utility system are yet to be felt. The impact is expected to be substantial. Most of the teachers' quarters that were built at least three years ago were affected by the power and water and sewer outages, as the teachers were on a two-week Christmas break and out of town when this incident occurred. The total revenue expected for FY '11 was about $225,000. The monthly average revenue is about $18,750. The financial effect may be felt for at least two months, more or less. Yearly expenditures are at least $200,000, and may be more when repairs to the water and sewer mains are made and completed.|
