If you do not already have the Acrobat
Reader, it is an application available free directly from Adobe.
Versions of Acrobat are available for; Windows, Macintosh, Sun SPARC,
HP Silicon Graphics (now ISO 9660 compliant), AIX and DOS. You will
need to download the application from their home page and install it
on your computer, but you need do this only once.
Some forms could take several minutes to
load. To return to this menu when you have finished downloading a form,
simply close Adobe Acrobat.
The State of Alaska does not issue an Employer
Identification Number (EIN), nor does the State grant tax exempt status.
These designations come from the U.S. Department of Treasury, Internal
Revenue Service. IRS forms can be downloaded from the IRS
publications website. The form for obtaining an EIN number is form
SS-4, and the form for recognition as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization
is package 1023.
