In response to comments on our soon-to-be-published regulations, we have decided to allow both fax and e-mail contact with the division. In order to facilitate this process, we have created a unique e-mail address for use in contacting us and making filings.

The regulation will be changed to require sending a paper copy of any required filing (proxies, proxy statements, etc.) within 10 days of anything filed by fax or e-mail. The faxed or e-mailed filing will meet the filing requirement, however, it must be confirmed by sending a paper copy. This applies to required filings only; other messages can be sent without a confirming copy, however, you bear the risk of our not receiving it should that occur. This change will be immediate and will be confirmed by the regulation when it is finally published.
